THE FIRST SIP OF MY RED WINE by NIKITA TAK

Book Review:

TITLE: THE FIRST SIP OF MY RED WINE
AUTHOR: NIKITA TAK
GENRE: POETRY/ QUOTES: ROMANCE/ INSPIRATION
RATINGS:4/ 5 ⭐

THE FIRST SIP OF MY RED WINE is a book of poetry and quotes, and I found it better than the first book of the author.

At first while reading the first few poems, I was not sure why the title and the content don’t sink fully. And only then I realised that the author has used the letters of the title as the beginning letter of each word. That makes the poetry interesting, as it isn’t an easy task to do. But it also holds the risk of making it sound artificial sometimes.
It is one of the types and I liked the other poems too. Use of Refrain in ‘There is a reason’ serves the purpose.

As I said, there are a collection of quotes in the second part of the book, which solely focuses its purpose of invoking positive thoughts accompanied with some quotes of romance.
Images are used as a collective in the middle few pages of the book. I wished if they were consistent and spread throughout the collection, as penned emotions with images speaks more. I loved the take on ‘wisdom tooth’.

‘Huge Crush’ is my favourite poem in the collection. The writing style of poetry is better than the first book.

Recommended for all people looking for poetry reads that are romantic and inspirational.
