Home quarantined

Title: Home quarantined

Author: Shraddha Rane

Genre: Non-Fiction (Real life story)

Ratings: 4.5/5🌟

This book explains the way the author spent her lockdown days due to Covid-19.  She explains how she kept herself away from negative thoughts amidst the worst situation around! And I loved the idea of ‘Quarantine Diary’. Most of us have the habit of writing diary and it feels like it hears our mumblings and pacifies us hearing our words!  She wrote a few pages daily and it helped her a lot!  Moreover, she is a blogger and continued to post blog that could help people get away from negativity.

Matters became worst when Corona Virus began to spread so rapidly. ‘Mumbai is not solely made of Skyscappers and Beachside bungalows.’- they are 70 people living in a floor, using public toilets!  With some strict rules, they decided to defend from the virus.  Could they win the battle? 

The narration is so simple and soothing.  The descriptions made me remember my first few days of lockdown, when I lingered around the house like a mad!

The last few chapters are heart wrecking and a few let my tears out!  I could not control my anxiety while reading them and turned the pages so fast with prayers in my heart! Her parents are tested positive for Corona Virus.  How could she and her family tackle the situation?

Recommended for everyone who loves to read  short stories based on real life incidents.  I believe everyone should read this book! Also subscribe to her blog… She is an amazing blogger!

I wish to thank the author for this amazing book! Keep inspiring young minds💖
